Arrest of Drug and Fake Currency Promoters

After circulating a video on social media documenting that some people in Tyre area are promoting a fake Lebanese currency, and as a result of a follow-up inquiry, a patrol from the General Directorate of State Security managed to arrest the Syrians (M.KH.) and (B.T.) in Al Maashouk locality – Tyre, and seized fake 50 thousand Lebanese pounds notes and a quantity of marijuana in their possession. 
Upon the reference of the Appeal Public Prosecution in the South, the General Directorate of State Security circulates the pictures of the detainees, and calls upon the citizens and residents who have fallen victims thereto to go to the South Regional Directorate - Tyre Regional Office and deliver their statements or contact 07/741583 in order to take the necessary legal procedures.
