the General Directorate of State Security seized a large amount of meat smuggled from Syria
In implementation to the Supreme Council of Defense decision to control illegal crossings and fight trafficking, a State Security patrol arrested in Chadra – Akkar, (M.H.A.) over a Hyundai van with a large amount of meat smuggled from Syria in an unhealthy packaging.
Upon the reference of the competent judiciary, the suspect and the seizures were referred to the Customs Detachment in Aandqet, and search warranties were issued regarding involved individuals.
