A task force from the General Directorate of State Security raided a warehouse for storing alcoholic beverages
A task force from the General Directorate of State Security, in coordination with the Economic and Trade Service, raided a warehouse for storing alcoholic beverages in Beqaa, and seized about 500 cans of forged and smuggled alcoholic beverages upon the reference of the competent judiciary, and arrested the Syrians (Rima D.) and (George H.) for smuggling alcoholic beverages from Syria into Lebanon.
Two vehicles used for distribution have been confiscated, and further investigation is ongoing under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
