he General Directorate of State Security raided a factory and a warehouse for the manufacture of food in Beqaa

As part of its ongoing campaign to protect citizens’ health and food security, a patrol from the General Directorate of State Security accompanied by a representative from the Ministry of Economy, raided a factory and a warehouse for the manufacture of food in Beqaa belonging to the Syrian (Ahmed G.), and reported several violations and non-compliance violations concerning cleanliness, environmental, health and legal conditions.
Upon the review of the assistant General prosecutor  inBeqaa, large quantities of food were seized, and the factory owner was released under investigation to settle his legal status and pledged to carry out all necessary procedures and repairs inside the factory and abide by all conditions that guarantee food safety.
